EPX CP

Two-Component, Solvent-Free, Epoxy-Based Carbon Plate Resin

EPX CP is a two-component, solvent-free, epoxy-based resin used for applying the Ticm Carbon Plate product to concrete and wooden structural members for reinforcement purposes.

Unique Structure

EPX CP was developed in the Ticem Advanced Construction Technologies laboratories as a result of many years of R&D activities conducted within the framework of university-industry collaboration. Ticem products are manufactured in Turkey by Sözeri Construction Elements under license from Ticem Advanced Construction Technologies.

Applications

In building retrofitting, it is used in conjunction with carbon plates to reinforce structural elements and improve seismic performance by increasing the load-bearing capacity of structures.
It is used to reinforce damaged buildings and structures, as well as to rehabilitate older reinforced concrete buildings where the reinforcing steel has corroded.
The use of carbon plates and epoxy resin in the reinforcement of buildings, bridges, domes, and similar structures is a traditional reinforcement method based on carbon’s inherent high durability and strength.
