EPX Primer

Two-Component Solvent-Free Epoxy-Based Primer

EPX Primer is a two-component, solvent-free, low-viscosity, epoxy-based primer used as an adhesion promoter prior to the application of the ticm Carbon Fabric and ticm EPX FRP systems, as well as the ticm Carbon Plate and ticm EPX CP systems, on concrete and wooden columns and beams for reinforcement purposes.

Unique Structure

EPX Primer was developed in the Ticem Advanced Construction Technologies laboratories as a result of many years of R&D activities conducted within the framework of university-industry collaboration. Ticem products are manufactured in Turkey by Sözeri Construction Elements under license from Ticem Advanced Construction Technologies.

In the reinforcement of damaged buildings and structures,
In the reinforcement of structural elements,
In improving the seismic performance of structures by increasing their load-bearing capacity,
In the rehabilitation of older reinforced concrete buildings where the reinforcing steel has corroded,
ticm Carbon Fabric and ticm Carbon Plate reinforcement systems are used in conjunction with these methods to reinforce buildings, bridges, domes, and similar structures.
