LD Plaka
Alkali-Resistant (AR) Load Distribution Plate
The LD Plate is a load-distribution plate developed as a complementary product for structural reinforcement; it is manufactured from AR glass fibers in two directions. In accordance with specification requirements, it is cut to the desired dimensions and installed using mechanical anchors. The LD Plate helps establish a complete connection between the reinforced structural member and the reinforcement matrix, thereby ensuring proper load transfer.
Advantages
-
It works in perfect harmony with the textile reinforcement and mechanical anchors used.
-
It works in conjunction with the textile reinforcement and mechanical anchors during the structural element’s elastic behavior to ensure uniform distribution.
-
It comes in rolls; thanks to its special design, it can be easily cut to the desired dimensions, saving time during installation and reducing labor.
-
With its special surface properties, it exhibits high adhesion with lime- and cement-based mortars.
Applications
-
In the reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures using textile reinforcement,
-
In the reinforcement of historic structures using textile reinforcement,
-
In the reinforcement of floors using textile reinforcement,
-
In masonry walls,
-
In vaults and domes.
