EPX FRP
Two-Component Solvent-Free Epoxy-Based Fabric Resin
EPX FRP is a two-component, solvent-free, epoxy-based resin used in the application of the Ticm Carbon Fabric product for the reinforcement of concrete and wood structural members.

Unique Structure
-
EPX FRP was developed in the laboratories of Ticem Advanced Construction Technologies following many years of R&D activities conducted as part of a university-industry collaboration. Ticem products are manufactured in Turkey by Sözeri Construction Elements under license from Ticem Advanced Construction Technologies.
Applications
-
In building retrofitting, it is used in conjunction with carbon fiber fabric to reinforce structural elements and improve seismic performance by increasing the load-bearing capacity of structures.
-
It is used to reinforce damaged buildings and structures, as well as to rehabilitate older reinforced concrete buildings where the reinforcing steel has corroded.
-
The use of carbon fabric and epoxy resin in the reinforcement of buildings, bridges, domes, and similar structures is a traditional reinforcement method based on the high durability and strength inherent in carbon’s natural structure.
